On less than 1 month old Polaris 300 which was only rode by 12 year old. Never taken in the mud, hills, jumps, etc. Scene - In the back yard, my son on his ATV and his friend on his 90 dirtbike. My son idling and friend hits his front wheel. Wheel shaft snaps in two. Impact not even hard enough to knock the boy off his bike. Granted we are thankful we weren't out on any OHV trails where you could hit a rock or tree or stump or another bike and seriously wreck and get hurt. Polaris denies any manufacturing or workship defects. Hello Polaris! Are you saying your machines are only good for flat, no ruff riding or they break? Is the material you use made out of clay? Obviously there was some sort of internal inclusion in the metal. This family will definitely not be buying Polaris ever again. We should have stuck to Yamaha.
