I have a polaris that I bought for a projuct I'm retired I ordered a service manual but have not recieved it.

1. I wont start turns over fine but I don't think im getting any fuel.
a. checked feule tank the gas looked bad so i removed tank cleaned it out and put in new gas.

b. checked to make sure i was getting gas to carb, i have gas flow to carb

c. removed and cleaned carb, "im not the best with carbs but I cleaned it out.

d. relaced spark plug.

tried to stat again I would turn over but nothing else

e.addes some gas through carb this time I got one "big "fart" and a little smoke..

f. pulled plug wire to confirm i was getting spark to plug . when I grounded it out and hit starter there was spark.

the next thing I was going to do is take a comprssion check, but not sure what normal compression should be on this unit. when crancking i will blow finger off of spark plug hole so there is some compression, but I still dosent seem like it's getting any fuel.

any suggestions would be appricated, or tricks you have learned.
