I have a 1997 Polaris Sportsman 400L Chain driven as well as a 2001 Polaris Sportsman 400 shaft driven with Independant suspension.

The 97 Polaris rear wheels and Tires are in need of replacing. Becuase I upgraded my wheels and tires on my 01 Polaris I now have a practically brand new set of wheels and tires that I could put on the 97 model.

The problem is the hubs are different as well as the bolt pattern. Can I upgrade the old hubs on the 97 so that i can put the newer wheels and tires on it from the 2001 model. Hope I didn't confuse anyone.

thanks
