I just got two of these pieces of junk.  One the starter would not crank the engine.  I tried jumping it off my Rhino that didn't help.  I pulled the spark plug tilted it over to see if some oil was causing a blockage preventing it from turning.  The starter did free up (at least it sounded like it) some fluid came out.  I set it back down, replaced the spark plug now the thing wont do anything but click.  I checked the power from the battery to some switch device and to the starter, and I get power all the way to the starter.  Do I have a defective starter or any other suggestions.  I said I had two of these ATVs, the other ran all day Saturday, except when it cooled down we had to jump it, the battery that comes with these things is pretty weak.  So Sunday the boys get up and the one that was running had the exact same problem as the other.  just clicks one time when trying to start it.  there is power all the way to the starter.  Help, I know I bought junk, but if they could work for a short time it would be great.

first lets start with the second quad, my guess its only needs a battery, before even startng these quads for the first time the batteries need to be charged for 6-10 hours on a .6 amp charger or 3-5 hours on a 1 amp charger if this wasn't done then the battery doesn't have a chance. not the batteries fault just the owners for not following directions, try charging this battery on a .6-1 amp charger first before buying a new one then if you need to buy a new battery make sure charge it first.
now for the first quad
charge the battery before going on, make sure the battery charged, then if it is, run a 12 gage wire directly from the positive side of the battery terimal to the starter terimal, the engine should turn over, if it doesn't and it still only clicks, remove the starter and bench test it, if it turns over then make sure the wires are tight on the starter solenoid, if it still doesn't turn over, switch solenoid from the other quad and see what happens. anymore questions e-mail me luvmysxs@yahoo.com
