I just picked up a 1986 TRX 125 It has been sitting for about 2 years. The owner said it ran fine when parked. He said the gears are jammed and stuck between 1st and 2nd gear. He said this happened before and he fixed it by replacing a gear in the transmision.
It will shift into 1st and and reverse (acccording to the shift indicator on the side of the motor)
It will not roll the back wheels are locked up!
I have not got it runnig yet (it has all the original parts) But when I pull the starter rope there is noting.
It just pulls all the way out and back in with no sign of turning the motor over. Is this right?
What should I do first before I spend more money than this thing is worth?
