In new here so maybe this has been thrashed a hundred times before. But here is goes: I'm looking for some advise on 2 way radios (generally handhelds) and some speakers and mics.
As to radios the marine models are my first choice, as they are already waterproof, and switchable between 1 and 5 watts. The 1 and 5 watts covers the distances my experience says will be required. The license is not an issue. The price range is attractive, the problem is attaching it to helmet.
Where we ride is hundreds of miles from anyone. And this addition would allow us to explore more area.
Anyone have any advise?
