2003 LTZ400 problems

alright heres the deal. its an 03 ltz400 quad. over a year ago it was sunk in muddy water pulled out and wouldn't start. the idiot my buddy loaned the bike to tried to pull apart the carb and lost all kinds of pieces to it. well now i have the bike and am trying to bring it back to life. the engine itself looks fine turns over and there was no muddy water or anything inside the motor itself. my problem is missing parts to the carb. would anyone have a carb i could get with out spending 500 dollars for a new one? or just have parts? i have been working on small engines like this for a number of years now and the bike has spark so it leads me to believe i just need to get a new carb or get the one i have back together and the bike should run again....so any help would be wonderful

Check out Moose's products. They should have a carb. kit for a Z. $500, maybe you were being sarcastic, but thats not what it'd cost. LOL
And maybe a diagram of the carb. from Bikebandit or something could help. Good luck.
