2001 Big Bear reverse light problem

I had a couple of bad wires ( related to kill switch) on my Big Bear, I fixed the wires and all was well.
I was looking at the winch and saw a bad wire there too. IN the proces, I broke a green wire that ran from the solenoid from the winch.
I think I figured out where it should wire, not positive.
But now the dask light indicates that teh machine is in reverse and will not start because of it. I never put the machine in reverse.
I think it is a wiring issue, but unsure where to turn.
Any thoughts?

same as you I have a 89 350 big bear and it won`t start. The reverse light is stuck in the ON position. It thinks that it is still in reverse....not neutral. I know its a wiring thing
