i have a 05 foreman 500 it shuts off when i get in water up to about the headlights.theres no water in the air box so i dont know.thanks for your time

sounds like back pressure from exhaust

also check all your electrical, clean it all, and put electrical paste on everything. that will beed all the water away.
try that and see if that helps.

my friends trx 300 does the same thing. we think its from a small exaust leak where water gets in.
