My quad has only about 600 miles on it. If I use it an hour a month, I'm lucky.
Here's the deal...push in the 4x4 actuator button on the throttle side grip. No light. AND instead of the front wheels pulling normally, the chain / system will bind up and jam the wheels to the right. Cannot muscle the machine to go straight ever! Have to shift to reverse and run that for 50+ feet. (with 4x4 de-activated)That
usually works. Sometimes, have to do that twice to get to two-wheel drive and forward motion. I have lubed all the zerks about 3-4 times in 12 years. Always garaged, NEVER left out in weather. Could it be a lube issue? or,is it bearing, bushing and / or chain. It is chain front and rear. Anything you can do will be appreciated!
