CDI chinese go cart wiring

I have a 250cc go cart that has had the wiring pulled out of the cdi and the voltage regulator.The cart is from nstmotor in Calif.Anyone have a wiring diagram for this? The cdi has 2 plugs,one 4 wire and the other 2 wire.The regulator has 6 wires.Thanks Donnie

Does the CDI look like this?

If so then at least at the CDI it is wired as in the wiring diagram of my 150cc GY6 ATV. The schematic is drawn to show the pin arrangement looking into the pins (as per the CDI picture:

To see the whole picture you will have to scroll to the message bottom and use the slide bar. Else do the right click on the picure(s) and save as...

My regulator has five wires - can't help you there.

Thanks a bunch for the info.Anyone know how to wire a 6 wire voltage regulator. 3 green wires,1 black,1 yellow and 1 red

Have you tried looking at www.buggynews.com? It looks like they have a pretty good engine troubleshooting forum for 250cc engines

Buggynews.com seems pretty active to me. I just signed up as a member today. Dozens of posts in the last week in just the engine clinic sections. Nothing in the anouncement forum about shutting down that I see...

In any case, it is currently active enough that you might get an answer. I can't help, and there certainly hasn't been answers here as of yet.
