Two weeks ago it ran fine. Came home hosed off the mud and put it in the garage. Tried to start it yesterday it cranked slowly and no start.Tried the jumper box and it cranked but still no start. I found some oil in the air box. I cleaned it out. I also found a vacuum hose cracked and I repaired it. I Pulled the spark plug and checked spark and gap both were OK. I removed all the gasoline and refilled with fresh fuel. All still resulting in a no start condition. I used the primer and it will start but not run, same thing with starting fluid. I installed a new battery because the old one was weak and the continuous cranking was killing it. I removed all the electrical connectors to check for water intrusion, none found. I removed the top of the carb and checked the diaphragm it looked good.I'm figuring it's not getting fuel drawn through the carb. What is the electrical wiring to the bottom of the carb for? Does anyone have any suggestions for a next step in diagnosis?

I had the same problem with my 2003, took the carb apart cleaned it and reinstalled the carb, it only ran for a few seconds then ran out of fuel, so i disassembled the carb again, found out the primer diaphram was starting to disintegrating, not sure if this will help you out, best of luck
