I was out today and sunk my Aric Cat500 in a 4 foot bog. Soon after that i noticed a lack of power to the wheels, i couldnt even make it up a hill and it felt like the belt was slipping. I pulled the V Belt drain plug, and reved in neutral, but no water came out. I let ot sit for a couple hours and have since had power restored to the wheels, however i hear sqeaking coming from the behind the V Belt cover.
Does anyone know if there is anything i should be concerned with, or anything i should be checking...maybe the belt tension?

it could be, but it could be the belt just needs a good drying out.
i would try it again today. if it stills feels a little sluggish on the hp or squeaks, i would remove the cover and make sure there is no dirt or debris holding back the cf clutch.
if there is none then i would replace the belt.
the belts wear on the sides, when this happens you get less and less pull.
it can wear quicker getting wet.
Keep it RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!
