Ok the light is on but we have no power to the front wheels. He has got power to the wire somewhere to the mid point if I understood him right. you see he has no idea I am asking for help here. If we do not get this fixed I am afraid of what he will do with it, he is getting quite upset. It worked and then it did not. I think it started with the light going out and he was hoping it was a fuse or wiring? Please help. Erica

the main key to atv wiring is to make sure you have a good ground, just because the battery is grounded to the motor does not insure a good ground to any of the accessories. also make sure that the shift solenoid is good. hope this helps.

thanks I am going to try to tell him this with out him knowing I asked for help else where. You know you men try all you can tell you can hit rock bottom then ask a buddy.

Ok got some more info he thought it could be the soenoid but does not know where to find it? Where is it? The Reverse light is stuck on does this matter? The Reverse override does not work? Hi beams and Low beams and head lights work? So with all of this what should I be sugesting? Thanks to anyone with a sugestion I just do not want to be using a shovel this winter Erica

Have him pull the plastics off, and trace the wiring harness from the 4x4 switch to the trans.He should find it by process of ellimination. Please don't do as my wife does by doubting his abilities.We fix things, that's what drives us. Good luck to you both.
