My ATV makes very loud rattling noise when I ride it. It sounds like bunch of metal hitting against each other. Can anyone help?  

Do you mean you are hearing those noises coming from the motor? If so, you might want to get it to a mechanic fast. I would not run in till you get that checked out.  

The noise is coming from the side, not from the motor. I had someone look at it, he said that the plastic cover for the rewind kit is cracked and needs to be replaced. Do you think this could be the reason for the noise? I wanted to replace the part my self so I’m looking for a second opinion. Thanks
