My son was riding with his cousin this week and he said the atv was getting hot so they shut them down to cool. When they stried to start them again, his wouldnt start so they towed it back home. I checked the spark and its fine, also has great compression and is getting fuel.( I did find the reason it overheated was it was extremely low in oil.) I have put fuel in the carb and tried starting fluid and it doesnt even try to hit over. All saftey switches are working and its turning over fine, just wont even try to start. I do notice a difference in the sound when you apply throttle when its turning over. Any suggestions on what to try next ? I replaced the plug and the carb is brand new. ANy help would be appeciated.

you didn't mention brand of quad so i'm assuming it's chinese, if it is then 80% chance it just needs a valve adjustment only if there was no damage caused by no oil and the over heating. if you need instructions send me an e-mail requesting them, luvmysxs@yahoo.com.
