sounds like the primary jet has some trash in it.
pull the carb and clean it out, check for water or corrosion or fuel tar buildup in the bowl. then work your way to the jets, use a .10 guitar string to run through them and clean them out, or a wire bread tie with the plastic coating melted off. once you have cleaned these out, move on to the floats, remove the pin that holds the floats on careful not to lose the needl;e valve underneath as it will fall out easily. make sure you note which way the floats came out. putting them back in upside down wont help the situation. look down into the hole the needle valve came out of check for dirt or debris of any kind. inspect the floats for holes.
clean it all out and put the bowl back on, then remove the top of the carburetor and inspect the diaphram on top for wear or holes. if none reinstall the diaphram and reinstall the carburetor see if it doesn't run better for you.
Hope this helps Ray Wolf Performance
