always starts with a half of turn on the electric start, i don't think i ever seen a vehicle start so easy, well last weekend was cruising about 5mph, then all of a sudden it made a backfire pop & it quit, pushed it home recharged the battery, it will only start if i full throttle it, but its garbling, with a little smoke, not much smoke though, i know the spark is lod, i clean it really good, but it's old, could it be the spark plug?, also it's wet, so i know it's getting fuel, but don't know how much fuel, seems like the fuel is being restricted since i have to full throttle it just to keep it running?, thank all of you in advance. i love this little tank, i have a polaris trail blazer2006, and it's nowhere nar as torquey or as fun as my sx.  

I dont have your model of bike but I think your jets are off and you need a little carb cleaning, check your air filter and your gear oil.
