After doin some research I found that this model was notorious for choke cable problems. So....I ordered a new choke cable and plan to replace it tommorow. I am in no way a mechanic or technician but I do take care of my regular yearly service....oil..filters..plug...etc. Havin said that...I cant figure out where this cable runs to on my motor/carb. Any suggestions ? Is this something I can do without screwin something up...funds r tight these days so a repair shop is out if I dont have to. Thanks.

normally the choke cable goes into either the top of the carburetor or the side. it should screw in. it's a fairly simple replace.....depending on your mechanical ability.
just don't forget to pull the plunger out of the carb if it doesn't readily come out of the carb when you remove the cable.
it will have to go on the end of the cable and don't lose the spring if you model has one.
if you are in the chattanooga tennessee area bring it by when you get your new cable and i'll change it out for you
