does it run if you hold the throttle a little? or still die anyway?

could have some trash in the carburetor or the fuel tank valve that gets trapped soon after starting but it also could be the carburetor.

check the intake boot or oring for leaks, and check the carb to see if it needs a good cleaning.

Hey man, The black on and off switch on the handle that goes either way........   push it in.  Its the one with "run" in the middle and off on either side of it. Try that

LOL, Maybe sharp, but we all know they are cheap. Well, I haven't even broke them in yet, but I'm gonna go ahead and change the oil to synthetic

Hey WOLF, Since you seem to be the man here. Let me ask you this. The pictures I posted....   These Tao Tao's, (atleast my sons) Seems to be a clone of a Polaris Predator or Outlaw... Is that the case? And as far as mine,, Its the 125cc,, on the bigger frame,, Any Idea what kind of clone it may be? I was thinking Polaris, But it seems my swing arm is slanted to the right (design wise). But I can't find another slanted like this. I can send you pictures of the back if you want. But I know they have to be clones of something!

a lot of the chinese tao tao atv's the engines are basically a honda style 4 cycle design.

the plastics are just whatever is
selling on the market at the time.

you can find plastics that resemble very
closely to the yamaha raptor and the polaris outlaw, as well as other atv's.

it based solely on what is being sold by the big four and others like polaris.

yours does resemble the predator.

Hey we are intrested in buying a taotao 250 "air cooled" four-wheeler, and we were wondering if there were any problems we need to know about before purchasing the bike?  And we would also like to know how durable they are as in hard riding and jumping?
