I have a 1996 Polaris 400 sportsman. The cooling fan just recently stopped working. At $220 for replacement I thought I might be able to rebuild it. Does anybody know were I can get parts?

Ok I have been reading alot on this recently as I too had a problem with overheating on my Sportsman 500HO ...I finally got into looking at it and found that my fan is not working ,I knew that but wasn't sure as to why.check the fan with leads straight off from a good battery. if it turns on look at the thermo switch, next to the thermostat... I too hear that the fan is going to cost upwards and over the $200. range. Thanks to these guys... (cut and paste)
http://www.jaycorptech.com/default.aspx I got 1 delivered right to the house for $80.00 Just make sure you get the right one. You want to buy my old fan???

My buddy and I recently purchased 08' sportsman 500 EFI's. Took them out last weekend only to find that both are overheating. Fans are operational, ambient temp was about 70 degrees. Anybody else have these issues with cooling in PS500EFI? What was the fix? ran through some mud, about 12 hours on the machines. Thanks
