Which are a better replacement engine. I am looking for good power all around to play in sand and spin paddle tires. My project is a 90cc go kart that I want to modify with the largest engine I can with a cyntrifugal clutch. I read lots about people being happy with their power on a motorcycle, but I need power to get him moving. Thanks ahead of time, Rich

doesn't matter, both are honda clones of the same engine and neither one going to spin paddle tires in sand.

no not really a quality problem, it just that these chinese engines 50-125cc are cloned off of a 40 year old engine design, they work good for what they are but are not speeders, 50cc have about 3 hp while the 110cc still only have about 6.5 hp. with all the horse power being developed in the upper RPM range.

Over at three wheelers world forum, they diss-agree, no offense, but I think I am open to the lifan, there is a guy who is blowing away 200's with a 70cc in the sand. And he weighs 220lbs.
Anybody have one? Either a Lifan or Loncin? Do you like it?
