Hi,I am considering buying a used 2ooo model king quad.[I have always had motorbikes only]Can anyone give me any info on things to be aware of?ie:faults with the model etc?The bike is a 6 hour drive away but sounds in good nick.Seller is asking $3600.00?    

I bought a 98 quadrunner 500 2 years for $3000 and have been very happy.  The price was top end, but it had very low miles.  How are you going to use the king quad?  (Trailriding,woods riding, mudding,towing,etc,)  I don't know what is different between the 98quad and the 2000 king but I've found mine to be a solidly built all purpose machine. If you go to see the machine, check out their other "toys" to see if they are well maintained or if they look beat up.  Could give a clue to how the king quad was used.  A long way to drive and maybe not buy, but better than one expense after another as someone else's hard driving becomes your problem.  

I think the 2000 KING QUAD is over price!!!!!! Go to craig's list and check the atv for sale under the motorcycle section.
