My 98 quadrunner 500 melted the plug on the wires coming out of the capacitor.  I replaced the plug and it happened again.  I replaced the plug using one left from a pick-up motor swap and that one is OK, but now the wires melted where they are bundled into the bigger plug that connects to the regulator. The regulator tests OK but does anyone know how to test the capacitor output or what the specs should be?
