Sup Every One Im a newbie to this forum and only been riding atvs for about 3 months now.

2 Months ago I bought my Suzuki Ltz 400 its a 2008 and I love it. I been noticing the past 2-3 weeks the shift lever the one u use shift with your foot its really hard and stiff its hard as hell to get into gear sometimes and doesnt want to. Any one kno why it feels like the gears or something are sticking or there just being stubborn. I did my oil change at my 10 hours of use and I drained the oil out of the bottom of the engine through the plate underneath where it has a little hole in it where you can get to the nut. Im hoping this wasnt the tranny gear fluid. But im pretty sure it was for the crankcase.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

you kno what I just looked at a complete repair manuel online and it seems that my clutch cable might need to be adjusted becuase when i do get it inot first or reverse it jumps back or forward on me so the clutch might need to be adjusted so it releases more.

Well when I shift mine into 1st or R it jumps a little, but mine is still really easy to shift. Try adjusting it and see. Good Luck man, and Enjoy the hell out of the Z400. I know I do.
