just noticed today, while driving up a hill i started to feels what i thought at first was rocks hitting my underplate, but quickly found out it was not rocks. this happend in 4 wheel as well as 2 wheel. its quickly seemed to happen more and more. the engine revs never skipped a beat , but it felt kinda like it was slipping out of gear for a quik second , it would make a surge with a clunk noise.
Im thinking some kind of worn or broken spline on a shaft or something expensive like that.
Any ideas , im hoping it an easy fix , anything i can do to troubleshoot and relove this would be great .

P.S. i did have trouble getting it to go from high to reverse while stuck on a hillside. rocked it back and forth and with a little force managed to get it in revese. the problem seemed to be noticeable shortly after.
