can someone help me find out how repair 110cc atv head gasket? Also how to find parts? This atv was bought for my boys for a birthday gift and now they can't ride. It's a chinese model Think the name is zhe jiang according to the title. One of the exhuast bolts fell out and one day it just stopped running and when I tried to start it... it blew air out of the head. I tried to take it apart but when I pulled the head bolts it was still stuck was told it has a timing chain holding it together. Please help the boys can't wait to ride again.

Take it to your local scrap metal dealer and then go buy yourself a good japaneese model and your kids AND you will be much happier.

you'll have to remove the small aluminum cover on the side of the head. and remove all of the nuts on top of the head. it has one bolt going all the way through the head, and it holds two identical covers on each side using the one bolt. be careful when you put this bolt back in that you don't strip the aluminum threads on the cap it screws into. (it's very easy to strip)
once you have this bolt out you need to remove the three screws holding the cam gear to the cam. be very careful not to turn the crank after you remove the cam timing gear, and not to turn the cam in the head. this way you won't have to worry about having to set the timing again. and be careful not to drop one of the cam gear screws down into the cylinder or crankcase.
use coat hanger wire, bend it and loop it through the timing chain so that the timing chain cannot fall down into the crankcase.
remove the head and remove and replace all of the old head gasket.
if you need to replace the cylinder gasket you'll need to remove the timing chain tensioner pulley. it is held on with one bolt on the left side in the middle of the cylinder, as well as the cylinder bolts. you should be able to remove the head once this is off.
you torque spec for the head and cylinder bolts should be no more than 20 foot pounds.
