Anyone ever converted a kodiak to 2 wheel drive? Looking at part interchanges it would appear that you could use Big Bear front axles then cover the hole in the transfer case (middle gear). I do not need the 4WD and it is costly to repair and maintain. I am worried that it may not drive or perform very well, although it would unlock the front end. I have had the ATV for a while but am starting to refurbish it.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.  

YEAH I HAVE A KODIAK IT WAS FOURWHEEL DRIVE BUT I MESSED UP MY FRONT DRIVESHAFT AND UNIVERSALS ND THE YOKE.YOU TAKE YOUR YOKE,FRONT DRIVE SHAFT,AND UNIVERSALS IN THE FRONT.THEN IT WILL BE 2WD.
