I need info on how to remove the brake drum from my 85 Honda 200 atv. I can get the wheel, hub assembly and sealed drum enclosure off but I can't seem to remove the drum itself. I am assuming it should slide off but that is as far as I can get. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

yes it should slide off, but most of the time the problem is that they rust to the axle splines.
be very careful as the drum will break easily. i recently replaced the brake pads and brake drum on a Honda trx200d that a previous shop had busted the brake drum. the brake drums roughly cost $207.00 new and it's almost impossible to find a used one.
if it were me i would use a small propane torch and heat the axle next to the brake drum hub. and very lightly tap on the drum. (did i say do so very carefully??!!!) still there is alot of risk of breaking the drum anyway.
