I recently built my 2003 blaster motor and did a full fmf exhaust, vitos carbon reeds, a reed spacer and a mikuni 28mm flat side carb. I finally got the motor running and it starts fairly easy but it wont hold an idle and if revved up slightly has awkward rev and wont go up high.  The carb had the tors eliminated and i dont know if theres an idle screw but the air/fuel screw doesnt seem to do much of anything when adjusted.  im gonna do an oil block off b/c i dont think the oil is getting injected but other than that i took my carb apart and it looks real good but im going to take the jet out and see what size it is.  any suggestions are much appreciated and a suggestion for possible jet size would be appreciated.  My airbox lid has holes drilled in it and it has a brand new filter. oil has been changed and brand new gas and spark plug.... thanks

i did a couple adjustments is anyone can help i guess the 03' and up blasters tors sytem is hooked up witht he ebrake and stuff so i recently extended my swingarm and removed the ebrake which i heard cause a problem so i removed the tors unit on the ebrake line and im hoping this might work.  i removed my oil injection and blocked off the pump unit and i also found gas in my crank case.  so gas is drained and oil is drained and now today im gonna mix my gas make sure the tors system brain is fully removed and put new oil and see how it goes...

the idle adjuster screw should have a spring on it.

if no screw then you have to either install an idle screw. (you can buy it in a kit) or sometimes you can use the throttle cable adjuster to help with idle adjustments.
