picked up honda foreman sat for two years changed fuel pump relay , coil good , timechain on . turns over some back fire threw carb. timing? valves ? cant find service manual for it got side cover off valve cover off. dont dear to go any farther.any buddy help with checking time.

could be timing or even could be valves.  you wont know unless you inspect it.
