1999 Kawasaki 250 Motorcycle Cooling fan not working. What are some Toubleshooting advice?

you should have a coolant temperature sensor.
these are most likely the reason the fan is not working.
however i would unplug the cooling fan and test it using 2 pieces of wire and the battery.
just run them straight to the fan and see if it comes on.
if not then the fan is bad, but if it does come on them you know it's most likely the sensor or possibly the cdi box.
