Im in the process of rebuilding an 87' 350 Warrior and I ran into a problem. I noticed that no matter what gear I put it in, the gear never enganged. At first I assumed the worst and thought the transmission went out. But I got to lookin at it and the clutch plates had about a 1/4" of play in the plates. I need to know what the thickness of the clutch plates is supposed to be brand new.

hey check with John at rjatv.com
he sells clutch kits and can tell you what his are.

it's varies from clutch kit to clutch kit.

i have seen some clutch kits at .67
and others at .88

it all depends on the material and the maker.

John sells clutches that are better than stock and alot cheaper.
