I just bought a NewStar 250 quad. Some *** knock-off.
The only problem is it wont start! I,ve checked the starter and it works fine. Battery is good. and everything else I can think of is also good. The issue I have found is that the starter isn't turning the engine over at all. All you can hear is starter. It's like the gear's aren't touching or something. If anybody has any suggestions for me,that would be great! Kinda wana ride this thing!    

haha sell it and get a yamaha or a honda  

try tapping on the starter with a wrench or socket extension or small hammer (lightly!). sometimes the armature sticks. other than that, look for a new starter.  

some of the chinese atv's have a small chain running from the starter to a crank gear.

check it to see if this is the case and if that chain has come off.
