wolf i put my boyesen reeds in and now the damn thing doesn't wanna run and when it does there is alot of back firing through the exhaust...u got anything on that.

sure thing
you should have instructions with the boyeson reeds that tell you to adjust the fuel/air mixture screw to the right either 1/4 - 1/2 turn, to compensate for the extra fuel intake from the reeds.

I just bought a +4mm crank for my 98 blaster, I know that my case is going to have to be machined, but my question is do you think i can do that myself, or would this be something that should probably be done by a shop.  Has anyone had this done on there bike?

it's better if you take it and have the case trenched for you.
you don't want to run the risk of cracking the case.
the tolerances are very close between the case and the crank and rod pin.
shouldn't cost more than 50.00 to get it done.
