Hi all my daughter has a race blaster mx , we have had some problems in it to go well,motor has been rebuild top and bottom end seems to have lost its low end pull,used to get a 2nd 3rd at holeshot now 8th 9th out of 14-20 bikes,just noticed that bike shocks you if toched while running -intermittant,,,,need help please

check the coil wire for wear, also check the stator wires for wear. this most likely is the cause for the loss of power at low end.
with it shocking you it has to have a short somewhere, and most of the other wiring will short and melt rather than shock you.
you could also take the atv outside at night and crank it up, watch for electrical sparks around the stator wires and coil wires.
also inspect the plastic casing of the coil, if it has cracked it can shock you.

HI MY YAMAHA BLASTER WONT START FROM COLD SOMEBODY SAID THEY TOOK THE FUEL SPACER OUT DOES THIS MAKE A DIFFERENCE? TO START IT U AVE TO PUT IT ON ITS BACK WHEELS TILL PETROL CUMS OUT THE OVERFLOW THEN IT WILL GO. COULD THIS BE THE COMPRESSION RING?

My ttr 125 did the same thing you had to hold electric start till the battery went dead and then kick the balls out of it for like 15-20 minutes. Take out the carb and clean the jets and soak the taken apart carb in carb cleaner. When gas gets old from sitting in the quad or bike for a while, it gums up like jelly and clogs up the jets.
