I have a 2000 Kodiak 400 2wd. My choke cable has disconnected from the plunger. I removed the carb and found a broken spring and the barrel connecter with an o ring on it. I do not see what connects it to the plunger in the carb. Thanks in advance for the help.

the cable usually has a ball on the end that goes into the top of the plunger

I see where the ball on the cable end hooks to the connector but where does the connector hook to the plunger?
