FMF makes a universal spark arrester. it's called FMF TURBO CORE SPARK ARRESTERS, cost is less than $120. mammothmotorsports.com is just one dealer that sells them item 227-1010.

Last week I bought my son one of these 110cc Chinese ATV's. After reading through all of these posts I am a little nrvous about upcoming problems. While we have not yet encountered any issues (only 1 week) I am wondering if there are any precautions that can be taken to reduce headache down the road. The ATV my son has only has forward with an automatic clutch, what oil nees to be changed. I have located the "dipstick", which reads full and oil seems normal. Other than that is there any other oil on this bike that needs changed? Any help or further information on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Hello. I bought a 90cc chinese atv for my son two years ago for christmes. He rode it about twice when he first got it and some things happened that kept him from riding until now. I pulled it out of the garage the other day and put a new battery in it and I can't get power to anything. When I turn the switch I get nothing. I've pulled all the plastic and checked all the wiring and connections. Everything looks OK. The only fuse I can see is a 7a right by the battery and it is good. I can jump the solenoid and the starter will run but I have no power to the headlights or ignition. The brake lights will work with the switch on but that is all. The remote kill transmitter will make the siren chirp as if it is working but I honestly don't know exactly how that thing works. Any ideas as I am at a loss...

Hi .. I to purchased a Loncin 110CC quad for my kids 6 months ago .. they have stopped riding it regularly now and it won't start. Here are the symptoms .. will turn over and backfire now and then .. battery will charge but will lose all charge overnight, without anything on (nothing obvious anyway) Does the kill switch kill fuel or the starter? Any help appreciated!

no it doesn't shut off the fuel. it kills the power.
it sounds as though you may have a clogged carburetor.
try removing it and cleaning it out.

Alright i have a new one for master wolf haha.. okay so im a stumped mechanic . Im working on a 200cc loncin quad, i just replaced the clutch and rebuilt the carburator for this guy. I got it 3 months ago from the guy and it ran, however the float bowl was all clogged and it ran like crap hence why i rebuilt the carb. I had to wait 3 months to get this clutch for some odd reason, i put it in over the weekend and charged up the battery and when i go to start it i hear a click but nothing more. I pulled off the side cover of the starter, and the starter cranks and seems to have power when i grab it with my hand. After this i was under suspicion that the starting clutch roller pieces may have been cracked and seizing something up. So i removed the starting clutch and flywheel and to my suprise found nothing wrong (that i can see). Hopefully someone out here has ran into this problem before. please help

wolf1 You seem to know alot about the loncin motor. I'm thinking of buying a 110cc & 250cc loncin. Is this a good move or bad move

okay guys. im stumped. my brother bought 4 brand new 200 cc china quads. they all ran like poo (carbs) but one didnt run at all. heres the prob. im sure its the stator so i pulled the covers and there it is covered in oil, witch i thought was wierd. i have seen alot of stators but nothing with oil. there is a passthrough for the oil directly under the crank at the bottom of the casing. is that normal? if it is what can i do to troubleshoot the stator? at this pint im not getting any power from it.

I have been having the same problem with my 110CC Honda knock off. At first it was the intake seal leaking because it came loose. After a few weeks it started running strange ,fast then slow, then stopping. So I will look at the wires, spark plug and start using the remote switch instead. I found the best place to get parts was Ebay. I bought my one on ebay from http://stores.ebay.com.au/A-and-S-Online-Powerseller and they carry a range of parts but there are other lots of other sellers as well. This on just happens to be in Melbourne Australia. The carburetor seal leaking can be a big problem so I always test the bolts.Someone told me once to put some soapy water around were you think the leak is and you will see the bubbles.I don't know if this is a good thing to do if the motor is hot . I hope this helps someone and I will post when I try to get the bike going ,if it works.

I have s Loncin and when it's running it's great,I got it up to 75KLh with a car driving behind me on a dirt road. They are a honda knock off ,or made in the same factory. I know someone that has 4 different ATV bikes. 1 Yamaha ,1 honda and 2 China bikes of Ebay and they all get the same problems when you flog them around. The all ended up needing work done on them after about 20 hours work. The big difference you will find is the spark plugs and chains are only cheap and don't last long.Always go over the bolts before a long ride as they work loose. You could try a lock tight product on the bolts. My brother inlaw is right in to motor bikes and he has been fixing bike for 30 odd years,he was inpressed buy the Loncin motor if that helps you at all. Also on off the cheaper motor bikes finished the Dakar Rally.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqGFm1umx5o (I don't know if this was it but its a rally)
