I have a 2002 yamaha blaster i just put a new clutch in it because the old one slipped and the new one does the same thing not on take off only when i goose the throttle in any gear there is plenty of slack in the new clutch cable and ive adjusted the clutch internally ive tried different types of lubricant ive pulled it out about five times already and everything looks great in there PLEASE HELP

What components of the clutch did you replace?  Just the fiber plates, or the steel plates and the springs as well?  What do you mean when you said you adjusted the clutch internally?  Were the clutch plates soaked in oil before installation?  

also to mention the pressure plate rod may need to be adjusted so that the pressure plate can be tightened more so that the clutch engage stronger.

and brian is dead on, it's normally best to soak the clutches in oil before you install them.
and the steel plates and clutches should both be changed.
sometimes you get away with reusing the old steel plates, but i prefer all new.

also did you get the clutches back in the order they came out?

and did you get the small wave spring and smaller clutch in the right order?

they should be the third clutch in the basket.
