Flashing 2wd/4wd indicator lights at a 2 second interval means a problem with the brake actuator. Upon testing the actuator it does test bad. Tested the 4wd actuator at the same time and it tested bad as well!!
Repair manual states if both are bad the lights should be flashing at 4 second intervals?? How can both go bad at the same time?  Is anyone familiar with this problem?    

I had the same problem with my 650. I took it to the shop and they said I had some mud in the fuses under the seat. They told me to just spray it out with the water hose evertime after riding. GOOD LUCK
