starter will not ingage replaced starter drive when trying to start spins but will not ingage into the fly wheelcan someone help?

d, try replacing the garter spring on the bendix and cleaning and greasing both ends of the drive. i had the same prob last year and replaced the starter and drive only to find out it was just the .99 spring. also make sure your electrical connections are clean and tight
