The Redbird Crest trail is by far one of he best trails I have ever rode. With miles and miles of scenic riding you never see the same place twice. There is approximately over 100 miles of trail with in the Redbird Wildlife Management Area(Clay & Leslie Counties) and also connects to the Willie Begley Kentucky trail system(Leslie County) that also has several miles of trail. Wildlife is abundant and can usually be seen while riding. Elk, Deer, Turkey, and a vast amount of small game is present in that area. Riders can expect to encounter easy "laid-back" trails to some of the most extreme in the country, with usually an easier route to get around the tough places. My Family and I ride this area nearly every weekend since we only live about 60 miles away. You can find all kinds of information on the web such as trail rules and regs. The annual permit to ride is $40 and day and weekend passes are available although I don't know the prices of those. I always get the annual pass. Be sure to get a map if you don't go with someone who knows the way because there is over 40,000 acres to get lost in. I have ridden many places in Kentucky and Tennesse and this is one of the best.If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to try to answer them.
