Before i give the guy money, is there anything I should know about a Suzuki LT250 (1999). The quad has not run in 2 years. Its been sitting in the garage. I saw it the other day, no dirt, rust or anything bad looking anywhere. The owner took good care when storing. Ive been looking on the web for discussions and other comments with no luck. It needs a battery and a tune, should run like new. any thing would be helpfull. thanks ride on

check the rear axle, the stock axles on some fo these were weak. so check to make sure it isn't bent or the axle bearings aren't worn out.

Well I picked it up last saturday, damn thing is long. Its about a foot longer than my TRX300. The rear break needs replaced, shoes only, and a tune. The man gave me 2 new oil filters, a spark plug and a new air filter. Also the original set of tires (he switched a set of Kendas on it) lightly used. I just have to get a battery and change the oil ,it should be running by sunday. ride on

Well it wasn't running by sunday. In fact it wouldn't start at all. I did a tune on it pulled the carb out and gave it a going over. The flote was stuck, a quick shot of cleaner solved that problem. Cleaned up the outside of the engine, put everything back... runs great. Wolf to answer your question, $650. not bad .Ride on
