I just recently bought a 2000 Polaris scrambler 400 4x4. It seems like you have to give it alot of gas to get it to start moving. I have never had a 2 stroke and was wondering if this is normal? Can  I shim or adjust the drive belt to help on take off. It has a blue spring in the clutch now.

the pvt transmission steals alot of raw horsepower.

you are kind of stuck with it.
any modifications void the warranty.
not that they are especially good at honoring the warranty.....
