I've read a lot of information as to the quality of the cheaper Chinese 4 wheels(clutch issues, engine issues, etc.). One post mentioned the quality of parts and what region they were being manufactured in. My question is this...is there a model/brand/distributor that has a better product than others(taotao, etc)? I'm looking for two smaller units for my children and would hate to dump money into something that will break down immediately.
Any help is good help.

80-90% of all parts on chinese are the same, no matter what chinese brand you buy, the good thing about this, it keeps the cost down and parts are readily available. some of the manufactures even buy their frames and plastics others don't, engines are the least of the problems, they are very reliable, most of the problems are carbuator, electrical and loose bolts. if you're looking for 110cc look at the hibird qh110st, its adult size, made for the 7-14 yearold, top speed is 35mph, cost is $699 shipped, look on e-bay or anamcycles.com , if you call in the order they will knock off another $50. the camo green for some reason is made a little differant and uses a kehiln carb and not the cheap standard of japan

honestly in my opinion the best chinese atv is the one you don't buy.
and that would mean any of them.
seriously, they will cost you a fortune in parts and repairs and don't have the warranty that the japanese manufacturers have.
i seriously suggest you steer clear of the chinese atv's all together.
read the posts on here, there are tons of them for various quality issues.
a good used Yamaha or honda or suzuki will last you alot longer than any of the chinese atv's.

Totally agreed..i poasted this on another thread but here we go again. the neighbor guy bought 1 for his kid for christmas (150 cc model)and has had nothing but problems with it which ran down hill to me as he rides all the time with my son.motor does run well but after that its just all no good. i am now in the process of putting together some parts of quads(blaster frame and plastic with 250x honda a arms/swingarm/axle/brakes)to try to make him something he can ride.after dicing slicing and some welding it seems all i need now is his mom permission to yank the motor from his bike and finish it.and if that dont happen im gonna slap a old 70honda engine in it which is built to 108cc that should tug it along just perfect(was a fun project i have to admit). but to get back to the topic. if your thinking about buying 1.id check the local newspaper for a used honda/yamaha/kawasaki. and if your looking to impress the kid with a new quad.slap some new plastic on it. either way it would be a great jump on and go bike you could drive all day with just a oil change here and there and the tires you would have to replace from all the use it would get.
