My quad quit running one day and everytime i try to start it i have to jump the battery and it will start as long as the start buttons held in, when you let it go it quits immediately..anyone know what's wrong?  

possibilities,

bad cdi, bad start switch, shorted ingition wire, bad relay,blown fuse.

I hate to be so vague.
there are just too many possibilities.
