I am repairing my sisters quad so she can sell it. Instead of boring all of you with the story, ill get right to it. Do the 5 clutch spring bolts that hold in the 5 clutch springs have to be torqued down or do they just get tightened all the way? I think they would get torqued but i dont know the torque specs if so. If they dont get torqued, then i am confused bc if it gets tightened all the way the clutch would be hard as hell to disengaged and pretty much eliminate all slippage that a clutch should have....anyones help is greatly appreciated thanks

The bolts do have a recommended torque, not sure what it is probably in the 4-5 ib-ft range. The bolt flange will seat on the clutch boss, if you do not use a torque wrench be careful not to overtighten or you will strip or even break the boss
