I had to repair my headlight on my 2004 Polaris Sportsman 400.  When I took off the cover, I notice a small diameter tubing (similar to aquarium air tubing) in this headlight assembly.  One end was attached, but the other end of this fairly long tube was not attached to anything.  

What is this tubing for and where should it be connected?

it's probably just a drain tube jusdt in case you get water in the headlight.  

I had gas coming out of mine i think its a overflow for the gas tank if i remember correctly.
