2006 Wolverine complaint

Regardless of what I've heard, I love my 2006 wolverine 4x4.  With the exception that Yamaha advertises it with an auxillary pull start which it is not sold with. Yamaha says one is not available.  However I understand the Kodiak has the same motor which has a pull start.  I found the importance of a pull start on an automatic by mistakely leaving my head light on and then the starter would not start the engine, a pull start would have been nice (try push starting an automatic).  I was told by my dealer that if Yamaha got enough Phone calls they might do something about their advertised promise of a pull start.  Nice quad but so far Yamaha customer service SUCKS.

i agree.my dad has a 04 rhino its great for where he rides  it but the air box doesn't have enough vents so the filter  gets clogged FAST and if u turned it off it wouldn't start for like 20 min.the dealer told him to upgrade it to the 05 style problem solved but it was a defect under warranty so i think yamaha should've recalled called it and sent out the 05 vents at no charge.but he got stuck with a descent parts bill. they say there was no problem but every 04 rhino had to upgrade.

They are all good but just try and pull a kodiak 450, I would almost rather walk or winch close to a hill. But good thoughts.

it can't be worse than the honda automatic clutch.

you simply can't roll it off.

but then the older honda automatics have kick start too.
