My neighbor bought his 9 year old son one of these for christmas.Appeariance wise it a nice bike for a guy his size to go on the trail with his dad. After that its all over with. i have worked on this bike for him every weekend it seems since he has gotton it.Reverse hardly works! The rims on the front are constantly comming close to falling off and i mean if he comes over and rides with my son for 1 hour they need tightened asap. The chain o the dang chain. This still however isnt where it ends. The rear axle to the rims has about 1/2" of play from the factory on each side(outch). Anyways what im getting at is if u pay for a cheap bike.. you get what you pay for. and also why i think it good for parents to think outside the box. You can get a reliable honda/suzuki/yamaha/kawasaki used for the price of a New china junker that will in the long run make them more happy with a jump on and go bike.

yes honestly you do get what you pay for. but there is at least one major brand that charges waay too much and you end up with an atv that has serious issues.
but the chinese atv's are simply not built well. if you are going to ride it in your yard carefully and not jump it, then it will probably last you a while.
the two i bought for my sons were starter bikes, and i quickly bought them better once they had a good idea how to ride.
but even those were a pain in the butt. needing constant repairs. from the frames breaking to the motor mounts breaking loose, to the top of the carb coming off and causing it to throttle wide open while riding.
However i can honestly say they were better than a Polaris atv. but you expect repairs for the price. with polaris they charge a fortune and you don't really expect to have to do so much work on them, and then polaris refuses to honor the warranty, and the parts are grossly overpriced.
stick with yamaha, suzuki, honda or kawasaki.
they have been doing this long enough to know how to build an atv that won't fall apart while riding it.
and the extra money you spend buying them pays off in the end.
